Fun Run

Nathan's school's PTA organized a 4k Fun Run. Tatay, Mama and Nathan registered early and was given the number 002. We didn't win but we finished the race. Nathan had fun and was not cranky at all. :)

Mic and Celia

Celia, my sorority sister and batchmate, recently got married to Mic. Both of them are cardiologists at the Philippine General Hospital. For their wedding, they had a lot of things personalized. Celia is a member of the group, Hangad, but for her bridal walk, she chose the music from Slumdog Millionaire, "Latika's Theme".

Simeon's Canticle was still sung during the wedding ceremony.  Their officiating priest gave a beautiful homily about how Celia and Mic should continue their "dashboard confessionals" as that is how they became close in the first place.

Cardiologists that they are, to further personalize their wedding, they used their thumbprints to form a heart as monogram. :)

They gave away mugs to guests with their heart-thumbprints monogram.

They also used this monogram in their simple but beautiful invitations by Printsonalities and in the tarpaulin backdrop used in the BaiCapture photo booth.

My son, Nathan, enjoyed the Theobroma ice cream buffet. Alright, I enjoyed it too. ;)  I love the bittersweet chocolate and the pistachio flavors.

Of course, he had his favorite chocolate flavor.

His reward for being such a trooper during the ceremony at the Shrine of Jesus

and during the reception at La Castellana.

That's why he only ate a prawn. He ate 2 cups of chocolate ice cream and some of those sticks from the chocolate fountain already. :(

He really enjoyed playing at La Castellana's courtyard.

We enjoyed the sumptuous buffet by VS&F Catering and the wedding cake by Baba Ibazeta-Benedicto (Classic Confections). Delicious!

My two kumares/sisses were also there.

And some friends.

Best Wishes, Mic and Celia! What a gorgeous wedding it was! :)
